This is a link to a tutorial to stream live video from EyeTV to the iphone, using vlc4iphone (0.9.8 or 0.9.9 works best!) and cytv. 

This is not work i've done myself, it was just a matter of putting things together, so all the credit goes to lucidcake(cytv) and zodttd of course. It would be great if anyone would take some time to make this a better experience i.e changing channels and landscape mode, as i have absolutely no programming skills. http://web.me.com/cricripoka/Site/CYTV4iPhone.html

Openstreamer in cydia is 2.1.0, but here the latest says 1.7.0. Furthermore, vlc4iphone in cydia says it's now called Openstreamer, and will install Openstreamer for you, but the version is 2.1.1... So we have 2 different versions 2.1.0 and 2.1.1, which is confusing.
