Cydia is a package installer/manager for the iPhone and iPod Touch created by Saurik, which allows users to browse and download applications, from the assorted sources. The applications are downloaded directly to the iPhone or iPod Touch.

[edit] 'Donate and Download' packages

| Launch Cydia and wait until it's fully actualized. | | Search for the application you wish to install (here psx4iphone) then tap on it.

| You will land on the application's page. Scroll down and look for the Donate and Download button. | | Choose an amount (from $2.5 to $15) or FREE (only available if it's a public release). Tap on the Donate and Download button and follow the instructions (if you chose FREE, you'll only see a 'Success' page). Come back to the application's page then tap on  and finally  .

| Cydia will download and install the application. Wait until the button Return to Cydia appears, then tap on it. | | Return to the Springboard. You will find a new icon (here psx4iphone).

| Launch Cydia and wait until it's fully actualized. | | Search for the application you wish to install (here gpSPhone). Since it's a Cydia Store package, it's in blue text.

| You will land on the application's page. Tap on the Purchase button. | | Cydia will ask you to login to Facebook or Google, in order to tie your purchases to an account (you won't have to pay for these items again if you change/restore your device). Simply follow the instructions.
