Palm Pre gets some Playstation action!
Hello again! I have recently purchased a Palm Pre. Naturally the first thing I did was root/jailbreak the device. Second thing I did? Well I threw my Sony Playstation 1 project, psx4all on it! The Palm Pre uses some of the same hardware as the iPhone 3GS and Pandora gaming handheld and it is fast! In this short video below you can see Wipeout XL running on the Palm Pre. Download links will be provided...
Preview psx4iphone on your 3GS now!
For those who have an iPhone 3GS, you’re probably aware of how much faster this model runs over all previous Apple handheld devices. This is evident in my YouTube video posted in my previous newsbit of gpSPhone running on the 3GS. I now have psx4iphone running very speedy on the 3GS. It’s at the point where Final Fantasy 7 is fullspeed at very least without sound. The build is rough...

I just received my iPhone 3GS, and to many it may seem like a rediculous upgrade…But wait til you see this video! You see, the iPhone 3GS has had a large upgrade in the performance department. It’s very powerful CPU and GPU, its guts are very similar to the OpenPandora.org’s Pandora...

ZodTTD & Friends will make an action platformer game in 30 days for AppStore!
For those keeping up with me here at ZodTTD.com, I have been fairly quiet as of late. That usually means I’m working on some new projects, and this time is no different! Today I bring you the announcement of a new AppStore title I am working on. The game is titled “Wizzley Presto and the Mysterious Time Machine”. It’s a very slick looking action platformer game with some slight...
Vastly improved gpSPhone v5.0.0 released publicly!
Things have progressed quickly for gpSPhone lately. This is due to my push to improve my emulator’s frameworks for the iPhone & iPod Touch. By focusing on one emulator I have had time to fix some major bugs along the way and even add some new features. My goal is to soon update all my emulator projects to this current framework. So what’s new in this vastly improved version of gpSPhone?...
gpSPhone v4.6.0 update for beta testers
Right on the heels of the gpSPhone v4.5.0 update comes v4.6.0. This update is currently for beta testers. Keep in mind save states (not battery/cart saves) previous to v4.5.0 will no longer be compatible with v4.5.0 and later. This is due to the change in save state format and data due to the newly used R9 register. I also added the old landscape-mode controller skin for fullscreen gameplay, just...
gpSPhone v4.5.0 released to beta testers
While I had a great vacation, as soon as I got back home I got sick with a soar throat and sinus cold. Fun times! While I couldn’t work on my commercial projects due to being too loopy from cold medicine, I did get to work on gpSPhone some more! gpSPhone v4.5.0 has been released to beta testers. If you would like to test this build, consider donating here. Thanks in advance. Once I revise things...
dsMediaLabs says iPhone market is a fad. Do you?
UPDATE: April Fools. I saw an interesting tweet on my Twitter account just now. It seems dsMediaLabs, makers of LightRiders for the AppStore decided to pull out of the iPhone industry. Where it becomes interesting is their reasoning for such on their blog: While we believe that the iPhone market is large and popular, we are coming to believe it may just be a fad and will fade away quickly like the...
ZodTTD.com Public repo was limited. Beta repo was expanded. [UPDATED]
UPDATE: Due to the kindness of all those who donated (thanks so much!) I am able to bring back the public repo a day early. The public repo has now been restored. I really appreciate everyone keeping calm and not being too upset during the outage. It went very smoothly overall. Also a big thanks to those who wished me a great vacation. I am back now and had a nice and relaxing time… Time for...
